A flexi-mat system of interconnected concrete pads was installed to repair the erosion before the damn broke.

Oryx mothers give their babies care and comfort

The Scimitar Horned Oryx have had 5 babies in the preserve. These antelopes are extinct in the wild and our head is now 14.

In our modern world the countryside
gets lost, the Outdoor Kitchen is a place to gather and enjoy the beauty together.

In a typical year

the ranch will be used for 12 non-profit events.
There will be 70 volunteer days used for 175 client "ranch days"
and around 250 meals served.

HILLVIEW RANCH IS HOME TO MANY OF OUR NATIVE FOREST FRIENDS
ALONG WITH SOME EXOTIC NEWCOMERS FROM ACROSS THE SEA.
ON A PRESERVE TOUR, ONE CAN SEE A VARIETY OF DEER, DONKEYS, TURKEYS
AND BIRDS OF ALL FEATHERS.

The HCWC serves survivors
of family violence, child abuse, and sexual assault
in Hays-Caldwell Counties of Central Texas.


HillView Ranch has facilitated a nurturing
long-term relationship with HCWC to offer
a safe, comforting, and educational fun day out.


"Ranch days"

provide families a safe environment
to relax, learn, swim, and fish.
We also have Picnics, hayrides, bird and wild-flower sightings,
along with visiting the donkeys and viewing the exotic animals.
Outdoor activities & fun for all ages.
